Scholarly Information

Xernieve is passionate about and excels in her subject matter (Linguistics).


She was the top 5% in her cohort while undertaking her undergraduate studies and as a reward for good performance, she was given a scholarship to pursue her Honours Degree in Linguistics.

She has a good grasp of her subject matter and thus she was able to complete her Master of Arts degree in Applied Linguistics with NTU within a short span of 8 months (August 2009 to April 2010).


The recommended period of time to complete this course is 18 months (1 and half years) to 36 months (three years) full-time and 36 months (three years) to 60 months (5 years) for part-time studies.



Contribution

She has been actively giving back to society since a tender age of 17 and she was awarded the National Youth Achievement Award (Gold) award for her contributions to society.

Other Achievements

Attained her class three driving licence at the age of 19
